Aphrodite Hills Golf Course

Situated near Aphrodite's Rock in Kouklia village, Paphos, the Aphrodite Hills Golf Course forms an integral part of the Aphrodite Hills Resort.

According to legend, Aphrodite's Rock, also known as "Petra tou Romiou" ("Πέτρα του Ρωμιού"), is the mythical birthplace of the Greek goddess of love and beauty, who is said to have emerged from the sea foam. The Resort takes its name from this iconic location.

The Resort is nestled in a serene area surrounded by picturesque scenery, offering views of the Mediterranean Sea. Alongside the Golf Course, the Resort encompasses various amenities, including a 5-star hotel, private residences, a spa retreat, and a tennis academy. The "Plateia," a replica of a traditional Cypriot village square, provides a relaxing setting with a range of facilities, cafes, shops, and a pub.

The centerpiece of the Resort, the Aphrodite Hills Golf Course, was opened to the public in 2002. Designed by Cabell B. Robinson, a renowned American golf architect, the course is an 18-hole championship layout and holds the PGA National, Cyprus license. Spanning over 6000 meters, it features a relatively open parkland design, adorned with olive and carob trees that enhance the Mediterranean ambiance. Adding to its uniqueness, a 130-meter gorge lends a distinctive character to the course.

As an award-winning golf course, Aphrodite Hills offers golfers the perfect blend of leisure and challenge, making it an appealing destination for golf enthusiasts.
